How Mutiara Adil Came to Be
Mutiara Adil was established in Kuala Lumpur by a small group of legal practitioners who noticed something: families going through inheritance and estate matters were often left feeling confused, rushed, or overlooked. Many came away from their first legal appointments without a clear picture of what would happen next or what was being asked of them.
We set out to do things differently. Our name — which translates loosely to "Impartial Pearl" — reflects the qualities we bring to every matter: clarity, fairness, and a calm steadiness that helps families feel supported rather than overwhelmed.
From our office on Jalan Damansara, we serve clients across Kuala Lumpur and the wider Klang Valley, handling everything from straightforward estate planning consultations to more complex probate and inheritance dispute matters.

Managing an estate in Malaysia involves navigating several overlapping legal frameworks — from the Probate and Administration Act 1959, to the Distribution Act 1958 for non-Muslim Malaysians, to the principles of Faraid for Muslim estates. Each situation is different, and the route through it depends on the nature of the assets, the existence of a valid will, and the number of beneficiaries involved.
Mutiara Adil has accumulated considerable familiarity with these processes over the years. Our work spans estate planning sessions for those who want to put their affairs in order early, through to probate applications and contested inheritance matters where families need considered representation before the courts.
